Abstract Introduction: Difficulty in emotion regulation causes employing unadjustment strategies to respond to emotions. The basic distinction between cognitive approach and other approaches is the emphasis on this approach to mental processes. The purpose of this research is studying the effect of attention biase modification on emotion regulation and its items in people with avoidant attachent syle. Method: Thus 60 persons of Semnan counselling centers clients in 2018-2019 were selected randomly as sample of the research. Difficulty in Emotion Regulation questionnaire, Experience in Close Relationship questionnaire and Superlab software were used for participates scores evaluating. The scores of emotional adjustment variables and its dimensions in both pre and post test phases were analyzed using repeated measure multivariate analysis of variance analysis. Results: The findings determined attention bias modification by dot probe could reduce difficulty in emotion regulation and make some significant effects on emotion regulation subscales. Conclusion: Results showed attention bias modification can make intervention in order to reduce emotion regulation problems. Also this way can be useful in treatment by emotional and attentional bias approach. Keyword: Emotion regulation, Avoidant attachment, Attention bias, Dot prob

Paying attention to the nurse’s affects at hospitals can cause development in well-being in addition to enhancement of patient-nurse relationship. It also increase the job performance. Current study aimed to explore the effect of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training on aspects of professional quality of life in nursing students. A quasi-experimental research method was adopted using a pretest-posttest with control group design. Research participants included 46 nursing student in medical science university of Hamedan. After contribution of professional quality of life questionnaires (Stamm,2010) among 150 people, 46 people who got medium or less score in professional quality of life questionnaire and were tendency to attend 8 session training class, placed in experiment and control group randomly. Experiment group was trained MSC in 8 sessions and each session was 1.5 hour. After that post-test was contributed in both groups. At last Analyze of Covariance was used for data analysis of 38 people because sample group had a decrease. Results showed that MSC training had significant effect on decrease of secondary traumatic stress (F=22/76, p<0/001) and burnout (F=11/70, P<0/002), and also on increase of compassion satisfaction (F=30.35, P<0.001). According to results of current study, MSC training can be used for decrease of secondary traumatic stress and burnout and increase of compassion satisfaction in nursing students.

Cognitive models of depression propose that negative schemas and Early Maladaptive Schema contribute to depressive symptoms. The purpose of this study is to identify the early maladaptive Schema of patients with depression disorder. The method of study is descriptive. Research Statistics involves all patients with depression disorder who have come to the counseling centers of Tehran and Hamadan. The method of Sample choosing is stratified sampling. This study conducted among 120 patients with depression disorder. Instruments in this study were included Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Short Form of Young Schema Questionnaire (YSQ). The analysis of the results showed high correlation between early maladaptive Schema and symptoms of depression disorder (P < 0.05). Regression analysis showed that early maladaptive schema of social isolation/alienation, enmeshment/undeveloped self and emotional inhibition were independent predictors of depression disorder. The results of the present study indicates that identifying Schema of depression in patients can help them understand the predisposing factors their problem.
